So what’s the difference between what you are doing and channeling?

The Bible tells us in many places that God speaks to us:

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. John 10:27-28

Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. Hebrews 1:1-2

Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known. Jeremiah 33:3

All down through the ages, the Lord has spoken to certain of His people and they have also written down what He said to them. Some examples of these would be Faustina, St. Patrick, Padre Pio, Gabrielle Bossis and Vasula. These have all written down in journals what their thoughts about God were, and what the Lord told them about various situations. Some, like Gabrielle and Faustina were directed by God to make available to others the things He had told them, meaning that those words were for any to read and take to heart.

This is nothing new, nor is it something “only” we are doing – there are thousands of people around the world who listen to God and write down what He tells them. This is the same thing the Lord did as He was giving men the texts of the Scriptures. (No, I’m not now elevating what He tells us to the same level as Scripture – I’m merely pointing out that He spoke directly TO the men who wrote the books of Scripture in much the same way He does now…) There are dozens of Scriptures that tell of the Lord speaking to this person or that one.

GOD speaks to those who are completely sold out to Him, who have given their whole lives to Him and have turned their backs on the world and the way the world does things. We are His children – and He speaks to us because we are listening! My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. John 10:27-28

Still Small is not the only place teaching that we can hear God’s voice – there are many. One such man is Mark Virkler, who has established a website teaching how he hears the Lord, giving step by step instructions. In fact, he has an entire website teaching people how to be close to and hear the Lord: http://www.cwgministries.org/meet-the-founders

As for channeling, Satan – as always – has copied it all, because he is a member of the spirit world, as is God. They have their own rules and laws that God established before we ever came into being as people. He is the one behind all the channeling and talking to mediums/spirit guides and so on. These people are trying to either talk to the dead, or talk to what they think are “spirit guides” – spirits “friendly” and truly caring about their questions and worries.

But it’s all a lie. The only spirits that will be talking to you that way are demons – fallen angels who serve Satan. There are only two kinds of spirits: those coming from God: what we call holy angels. And those fallen angels aligned with Satan – demons. No people coming back from the dead, no aliens, no “higher guides of peace and love” NONE of it. There is God. There is Satan. Two camps. And people AND spirits MUST fall into one camp or the other – there’s NO neutral ground in between. To believe that is to jump directly into Satan’s camp from the start – because he’s the one that made up that whole lie in the first place. You can read about his fall in both

Ezekiel 28:12-19 ‘The Lord God says: You were the perfection of wisdom and beauty. 13 You were in Eden, the garden of God; your clothing was bejeweled with every precious stone—ruby, topaz, diamond, chrysolite, onyx, jasper, sapphire, carbuncle, and emerald—all in beautiful settings of finest gold. They were given to you on the day you were created. 14 I appointed you to be the anointed Guardian Angel. You had access to the holy mountain of God. You walked among the stones of fire.

15 “‘You were perfect in all you did from the day you were created until that time when wrong was found in you. 16 Your great wealth filled you with internal turmoil, and you sinned. Therefore, I cast you out of the mountain of God like a common sinner. I destroyed you, O Guardian Angel, from the midst of the stones of fire.17 Your heart was filled with pride because of all your beauty; you corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor. Therefore, I have cast you down to the ground and exposed you helpless before the curious gaze of kings. 18 You defiled your holiness with lust for gain; therefore, I brought forth fire from your own actions and let it burn you to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all those watching you. 19 All who know you are appalled at your fate; you are an example of horror; you are destroyed forever.’”

and Isaiah 14:3-17

In that wonderful day when the Lord gives his people rest from sorrow and fear, from slavery and chains, you will jeer at the king of Babylon and say, “You bully, you! At last you have what was coming to you! For the Lord has crushed your wicked power and broken your evil rule.” You persecuted my people with unceasing blows of rage and held the nations in your angry grip. You were unrestrained in tyranny. But at last the whole earth is at rest and is quiet! All the world begins to sing! Even the trees of the woods—the fir trees and cedars of Lebanon—sing out this joyous song: “Your power is broken; no one will bother us now; at last we have peace.”

The denizens of hell crowd to meet you as you enter their domain. World leaders and earth’s mightiest kings, long dead, are there to see you. 10 With one voice they all cry out, “Now you are as weak as we are!” 11 Your might and power are gone; they are buried with you. All the pleasant music in your palace has ceased; now maggots are your sheet, worms your blanket!

12 How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground—mighty though you were against the nations of the world. 13 For you said to yourself, “I will ascend to heaven and rule the angels.[a] I will take the highest throne. I will preside on the Mount of Assembly far away in the north.* 14 I will climb to the highest heavens and be like the Most High.” 15 But instead, you will be brought down to the pit of hell, down to its lowest depths. 16 Everyone there will stare at you and ask, “Can this be the one who shook the earth and the kingdoms of the world? 17 Can this be the one who destroyed the world and made it into a shambles, who demolished its greatest cities and had no mercy on his prisoners?”

Christians are strictly forbidden to do these things, simply because we are not to seek knowledge outside of what God Himself gives us, and certainly not to “make friends” with demons. Even in our listening to God we are not seeking “special” knowledge of any kind. We are free to ask God questions – but if He chooses not to tell us, that is where it must stop. He gives us and tells us all that is necessary for us to know. God desires us to Trust Him and all that He provides for us instead of seeking to have secret or special knowledge.

We need to take heed to the directions that God gave His people Israel when He brought them into the Promised Land, for surely we are still His people as believers, having been grafted into the Vine (John 15:5) through Jesus’ death on the Cross and resurrection: When you arrive in the Promised Land you must be very careful lest you be corrupted by the horrible customs of the nations now living there. 10 For example, any Israeli who presents his child to be burned to death as a sacrifice to heathen gods must be killed. No Israeli may practice black magic, or call on the evil spirits for aid, or be a fortune-teller,11 or be a serpent charmer, medium, or wizard, or call forth the spirits of the dead.12 Anyone doing these things is an object of horror and disgust to the Lord, and it is because the nations do these things that the Lord your God will displace them. 13 You must walk blamelessly before the Lord your God. 14 The nations you replace all do these evil things, but the Lord your God will not permit you to do such things. Deuteronomy 18:9-14

    Hi,

I’m truly thankful to the Lord for leading me to Heartdwellers about 6 months ago. I’m not sure how and where I can post a question. So please pardon me for posting a question in this Comment space.

I’ve been wondering, will there be anyone who STAYS BEHIND and not being LEFT BEHIND among His servants? If there is, then why has the Lord been telling us that those who are truly His will be raptured? Are those who are staying behind, His chosen servants to lead those who are left behind? OR those who are staying behind are those who still have stains on their garments? From what I understand, those who will be left behind are those who don’t believe in Him and those who still have stains on their garments. I hope God will further enlighten me through this site.

Thank you and may the Lord’s bountiful blessings be upon you all always!

The Lord has indicated that there ARE some who will willingly stay behind – Clare knows one such person near her. This is a decision between the person and the Lord – it’s voluntary, not mandatory. There is a video on the Youtube site “Are You Called to Go In The Rapture or Stay to Help?” that explains it more.
